Overview
PracticeMentor helps mentees practice job interviews and helps mentors review practice progress. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how mentor visibility works.
Information We Collect
We collect account information such as name, email address, role, and login credentials. Mentees may add CV text, job announcement text, recorded interview answers, audio metadata, transcripts, scores, feedback, and practice history.
Audio And Transcripts
When a mentee records an interview answer, PracticeMentor uploads the audio to create a transcript and feedback. The transcript, score, feedback, and recorded audio may be saved so the mentee and their linked mentor can review practice history.
Mentor Visibility
If a mentee is linked to a mentor, that mentor can see the mentee's CV text, job text, interview questions, transcripts, scores, feedback, history, and recorded answers. Mentors use this access to provide coaching and monitor interview readiness.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to provide account access, generate interview questions, transcribe recorded answers, score responses, show history, support mentor review, improve reliability, and protect the service from misuse.
Service Providers
PracticeMentor may use service providers such as hosting, database, and AI transcription or evaluation providers. Audio, transcripts, CV text, job text, and answer content may be processed by these providers only to operate the app's interview-practice features.
Data Protection
We use HTTPS in production to protect data in transit. Access to account and practice data is restricted by login and role-based permissions.
Retention And Deletion
We keep account and practice data while an account is active or as needed to operate the service. Users may request deletion of their account or practice data by contacting us.
Children
PracticeMentor is intended for adult interview practice and is not designed for children.
